Purpose of the Role: The Marketing Manager for Bosch Car Service is responsible for planning and executing the marketing strategy for the Bosch Car Service concept. This includes budget planning and control, coordinating events and marketing campaigns, rolling out new services, and supporting the sales team. The role also involves managing relationships with suppliers and departments, developing concept strategies, and identifying business development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy:
- Plan and execute the marketing strategy for the Bosch Car Service concept.
- Manage budget planning and control for marketing activities.
- Coordinate events and marketing campaigns.
- Service Development:
- Roll out new services for the Bosch Car Service network.
- Determine business models, set pricing strategies, and introduce service packages to develop Value Added Services.
- Sales Support:
- Guide and support the sales team in market implementation of the concept.
- Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships with suppliers and other departments in the company.
- Concept Strategy:
- Develop and lead the concept strategy.
- Establish mid- and long-term business plans.
- Competitive Analysis:
- Analyze competitors’ activities and identify business development opportunities.
- Customer Insights:
- Coordinate customer surveys and assessments regularly.
- Network Expansion:
- Plan Bosch Car Service network expansion per country in the region.
- Strategic Partnerships:
- Set up, lead, and deploy strategic cooperation with key partners.
- Acquisitions Support:
- Support new Bosch Car Service acquisitions through market-specific campaigns.
- Contracting Process:
- Follow up on the Bosch Car Service contracting process.
- Revise and update content based on country-specific regulations and market requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Matric Certificate
- University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Honours in Marketing is advantageous
- Skills:
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- PC literate with excellent skills in MS Office
- Strong analytical approach with attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- High efficiency in time management
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build sustainable relationships
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Automotive business or Franchise Management
- SAP knowledge and experience is advantageous
- Understanding of workshop management processes, automotive technologies, vehicle diagnosis, and awareness of future trends is a plus
