Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Control Systems Software Developer with extensive expertise in software development for industries such as Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Mining, or Military. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing and integrating control systems software, working with real-time distributed controllers, and employing advanced tools like Matlab, Simulink, and IEC61131-3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop control systems software for complex, real-time applications.
- Perform hands-on software development and hardware-software integration for control systems.
- Utilize IEC61131-3 or model-based development tools such as Matlab/Simulink and Control Build for software development.
- Integrate and optimize real-time distributed controllers.
- Work with various network protocols such as MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485.
- Apply practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests) and tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools).
- Ensure that all software development meets industry-specific standards and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software development and system validation.
Experience and Skills:
- 10+ years of post-graduate experience in software development.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in control systems software development.
- Extensive experience in industries like Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Mining, or Military is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in IEC61131-3 or model-based development tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink, Control Build).
- Strong understanding of real-time network protocols (MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485) is beneficial.
- Practical experience with validation methods and tools is advantageous.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, specializing in Computer, Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
