Job Overview: We are seeking a Control Engineer with expertise in electrical design, electro-mechanical systems, and automation, particularly in programmable logic controllers (PLCs). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with model-based development tools and a strong understanding of industrial communication networks. Prior experience in the rolling stock industry is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement control systems for electrical and electro-mechanical designs, ensuring they meet industry and project requirements.
- Design and integrate control systems using IEC61131-3 software or model-based development tools such as Matlab/Simulink or Control Build.
- Perform hands-on development, testing, and integration of control systems for industrial applications.
- Work with network topologies and communication protocols including Serial, Ethernet, and MVB or other industrial communication networks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, providing technical support and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and system integration.
Experience and Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience in control engineering, with a focus on PLCs, electrical systems, or electro-mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with IEC61131-3 software or model-based development tools like Matlab/Simulink or Control Build.
- Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols such as Serial, Ethernet, and MVB.
- Previous experience in rolling stock engineering is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, specializing in Computers, Electrical/Electronic, or Mechatronics.
