Main Purpose of the Position

To perform electrical work related to security and risk items, ensuring the safety and functionality of security systems.

Minimum Requirements

  • Criminal Record: Clear criminal record.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience: At least 5 years’ experience in technical or maintenance work.
  • System Knowledge: Experience with Bulugaya System is advantageous.
  • Independence: Must be able to work unsupervised.
  • Vehicle Knowledge: Must have knowledge of different types of vehicles.
  • Security Systems Familiarity: Familiarity with cameras, biometrics, and electrical fences.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license is required; own transport is an advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel: Must be willing to travel and work extended hours when required.

Job Specification (Not Totally Inclusive)

  • Electrical Diagnosis: Diagnose electrical issues related to vehicle security systems.
  • Wiring Management: Check and replace wiring within vehicle systems as necessary.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform general maintenance on OTC vehicles, including replacing faulty locks and addressing vehicle breakdowns.
  • Documentation: Compile paperwork for each vehicle, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Keypad Replacement: Replace broken keypads as needed.
  • General Maintenance: Conduct general maintenance tasks to ensure all systems are functioning optimally.
