Service Consultant

Service Consultant position available.

Purpose Statement

Enhance the lives of our clients by providing exceptional client service through the Global One product offering. Our goal is to fulfill and exceed client needs, supporting them to Bank Better and Live Better.

Experience

Minimum:

• 3 to 6 months of previous client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment, or
• A relevant tertiary qualification if no prior experience.

Ideal:

• More than 1 year of client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment.
• Demonstrated track record in sales and client-facing roles.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational.

Preferred:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a similar field.
• Certification in Finance or Banking.

Knowledge

Minimum:

• Basic calculations.
• Understanding of the retail/consumer service environment.

Ideal:

• Knowledge of Capitec Bank products.
• Familiarity with internal business processes and procedures.
• Understanding of organizational policies, including the Branch Credit Granting Policy (BCGP).

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.
