Overview

In addition, the organisation is investing in its Zeerust operation, and this Office Manager position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the administration jobs function and contribute to the wider North West business.

Practically speaking, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Zeerust team on trust, and the Office Manager role will feel that from week one.

Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the administration jobs group in Zeerust.

Notably, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Zeerust also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

A Typical Day

Your day starts at the front of the business, ready to greet visitors, answer the switchboard and make sure the leadership diaries are in order. Through the morning you balance calls, couriers, capturing data and supporting projects with neat, accurate work. After lunch, you might be preparing minutes from a board pack, helping HR onboard a new starter, or chasing a courier across town. By close of day, every desk you support knows you have it covered, and the office is set up for a calm, productive tomorrow.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Zeerust.

Notably, the Zeerust office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

On top of that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when North West operations throw up the unexpected.

Equal Opportunity

Diverse teams build stronger workplaces. Applications are welcome from candidates of every background, language and community across North West, and recruitment is fair, transparent and aligned with the EE Act.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across North West.

Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Zeerust.
