Main Purpose
To coordinate, monitor, and execute operational procurement activities within established frameworks and policies, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Procurement.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain roles.
- Skills: Strong understanding of procurement processes, along with excellent administration and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Activities Oversight: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal and financial requirements.
- Supply Chain Efficiency: Guarantee timely supply to sites with optimal quality and pricing, utilizing best practices.
- Supplier Database Management: Manage and maintain CHG’s supplier database in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, address, and report risks and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Business Improvement Initiatives: Identify innovative strategies to enhance business practices and processes for cost savings and improved service delivery.
- Supplier Query Management: Effectively handle supplier queries to maintain strong relationships.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve procurement objectives.
- Cost Improvement Reporting: Implement, manage, and report on cost improvement initiatives, communicating any shortfalls.
- Audit Reporting: Develop audit reports and contribute to the establishment of reporting standards across the procurement function.
- Data Analysis: Analyze information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
