Marketer

Main Purpose of the Position

To market and execute company services and enhance the company image with the goal of maintaining and increasing market share, generating new business, and operating profitably.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Grade 12 with an Agricultural Diploma or degree preferred.
• Experience: 3 years of previous experience in a livestock marketing environment.
• License: Valid driver’s license.

Skills

• Communication: Strong communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English.
• Livestock Knowledge: Good working knowledge of livestock.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in MS Office.
• Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative abilities.
• Negotiation and Marketing: Strong negotiation and marketing skills.
• Sales Skills: Proven sales capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Turnover Achievement: Meet turnover and profitability targets.
• Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with both buyers and sellers.
• Community Engagement: Foster company involvement in the community.
• Credit Policy Application: Implement and manage credit policies and administration effectively.
• Auction Process Management: Ensure an effective and sustainable auction process.
• Staff Supervision: Oversee staff performance and development.
