Key Responsibilities

  • Set up rooms, function venues and outlets ahead of guest arrivals
  • Train casual staff on service standards and SOPs
  • Take orders accurately and deliver food and beverages to standard
  • Support events, banquets and conference operations
  • Maintain the required hygiene and uniform standards in line with safety and service policy during all shifts
  • Promote menu items, daily specials and loyalty programmes

Minimum Requirements

  • Good verbal communication skills needed for guest service; additional languages are an advantage
  • Computer literacy and experience with POS systems
  • Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
  • Matric / National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
  • Able to remain on duty for the essential standing and service tasks, with reasonable accommodation where applicable
