The organisation is recruiting a Email Marketing Specialist for its Brits operation. The role forms part of a wider marketing jobs portfolio across North West.

The Role

Practically speaking, the Email Marketing Specialist position is part of an ongoing recruitment drive across North West. The brief has been shaped carefully, with a focus on delivery in Brits and across the marketing jobs space.

In addition, the role suits a candidate who values consistency and clear communication. The Brits operation runs on accurate work, steady relationships and a genuine respect for the people in the team.

Beyond that, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Brits also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the marketing jobs team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Brits much easier.

Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Email Marketing Specialist to step into the marketing jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.

Based in Brits

Brits continues to grow as an employment hub in North West, with close to the Mahikeng administrative hub. This role gives you a foothold in one of its busier business communities, with access to the local services, suppliers and partners that keep the work moving.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Brits.

Many candidates already living within reach of Brits cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local North West economy.

If you are relocating, the team can share practical pointers on neighbourhoods, transport and the typical pace of life in Brits, North West.

What We Offer

You will join a team that values respectful collaboration, honest feedback and shared wins. The Brits colleagues take pride in supporting one another and in doing the marketing jobs side of the business properly, day in and day out.

Benefits are clear and consistent. Beyond the package on offer, the role includes the supports you would expect from an established South African employer in North West.

Crucially, the company reinvests in its people: paid training, internal moves and the chance to take on bigger projects are all part of how careers in Brits keep progressing.

Recognition matters here. Strong performers are noticed quickly, and many promotions across the business have started in the Brits teams.

Meet the Team

Crucially, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Brits office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when North West operations get busy.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

In addition, the team mix in Brits reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.

Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.

Your Future Here

This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the marketing jobs team in Brits have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Beyond that, internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Brits have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across North West.

Training is a mix of formal courses, structured on-the-job learning and exposure to broader projects, all geared at building practical skills.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Brits team member.

A Typical Day

In addition, you usually start by scanning campaign dashboards over coffee, checking performance against targets and flagging anything that needs attention. Mornings are often given to creative work — briefing designers, refining copy, planning the next content drop — while afternoons mix stakeholder meetings, agency calls and a steady stream of approvals. In between, you’re watching what competitors are doing, listening to what customers are saying online, and shaping the next set of experiments to push the brand forward.

Importantly, the Brits office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Practically speaking, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when North West operations throw up the unexpected.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Brits.

Where You’ll Work

Importantly, the environment is creative, deadline-driven and data-aware. Cross-functional work with sales, product and design is the norm, and ideas are tested with real audiences quickly.

A respectful, professional environment is the standard in North West. Bullying, harassment and unfair conduct have no place here, and managers are trained to act decisively when concerns are raised.

Beyond that, the working environment is set up to give the team the focus needed for deeper work, while keeping collaboration and quick problem-solving close at hand.

Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Brits site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.

Our Commitment to Transformation

Equally, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.

B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across North West.

Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Brits.
