About This Opportunity
Work-Force is currently recruiting Building Cleaners for various commercial and office buildings in Port Elizabeth. As a Building Cleaner, you will ensure that the premises are clean, safe, and presentable for staff and visitors.
Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• General Cleaning: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting office spaces, restrooms, and common areas.
• Waste Management: Emptying trash bins and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
• Window Cleaning: Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors as needed.
• Supply Management: Monitoring cleaning supplies and notifying the supervisor when stocks are low.
• Maintenance Reporting: Reporting any maintenance issues or repair needs to the facility manager.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle cleaning tasks and operate cleaning equipment.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure all areas are cleaned thoroughly and meet company standards.
• Time Management: Ability to complete cleaning tasks efficiently within scheduled hours.
• Reliability: Punctual and dependable attendance is essential.
• Experience: Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus but not required.
