Role Overview
In this position, you will be responsible for:
• Plant Care: Watering, feeding, and pruning plants to ensure they thrive.
• Soil Preparation: Assisting with soil preparation and potting new plants.
• Weeding: Keeping nursery beds and plant areas free from weeds.
• Customer Service: Assisting customers with plant selection and care advice.
• Plant Transport: Moving plants to different areas of the nursery and helping with loading for customers.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should have:
• Love for Plants: Passionate about working with plants and gardening.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring plants are well-maintained and nursery areas are tidy.
• Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable with customers.
• Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or gardening is a plus, but not required.
