Civil Draughtsperson opportunity in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
RPO Recruitment’s client, a well-established engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Civil Draughtsperson to join their Richards Bay office.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and models using Civil Designer. Produce drawings for roads, stormwater, water and sewer infrastructure, and bulk earthworks projects. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards and client requirements.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to produce accurate and timely design documentation. Revise and update drawings based on engineering design changes and client comments. Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
Assist with the delivery of high-quality design documentation within project deadlines.
Requirements
Relevant Draughting qualification. 5–10 years’ experience in civil draughting and modelling. Extensive experience in the design and draughting of roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, bulk earthworks Proficient in Civil Designer and Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.
Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Able to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
