Work-Force
Applications are warmly invited for a Workplace Learner Retail role based in Sandton. We welcome candidates from every background across Gauteng who are ready to grow with us.
The Role
The organisation is investing in its Sandton operation, and this Workplace Learner Retail position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the in-service training function and contribute to the wider Gauteng business.
Importantly, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Sandton team on trust, and the Workplace Learner Retail role will feel that from week one.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Sandton teams, and the new Workplace Learner Retail will feel that from the first week.
About the Team
Practically speaking, the team you will be working with is fast-paced and energetic. Things move quickly across the Sandton office, and the people who thrive here are the ones who plan ahead, communicate openly and pick up the slack when Gauteng operations get busy.
Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
Notably, the team mix in Sandton reflects a balance of experienced operators and emerging talent, with deliberate space for diverse voices and backgrounds.
A Typical Day
Your day starts with a quick check-in with your mentor and a review of the tasks you’ll shadow or own. You spend time observing experienced colleagues, asking questions and trying small pieces of work yourself. As the day progresses, you capture notes for your logbook, attend team huddles and contribute where you can. The mix of structured learning, real workplace exposure and supportive feedback helps you turn classroom theory into skills you can actually use.
Practically speaking, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Gauteng operations throw up the unexpected.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Sandton.
