We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our clinical setting. This role involves direct patient interaction, medical procedures assistance, and collaborative care planning.
Responsibilities:
- Direct Patient Care:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any significant changes.
- Medical Procedures:
- Assist with medical procedures and ensure the safe use of clinical technology.
- Collaboration:
- Work with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Patient Education:
- Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
- Documentation:
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to legal and professional standards.
- Infection Control:
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse qualification with valid registration with the South African Nursing Council.
- Clinical Technologist qualification is advantageous.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of patient care practices and clinical technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Availability:
- Willingness to work shifts and weekends as required.
