Site Agent position available. Main Purpose: The Construction Supervisor will oversee and coordinate construction operations on-site for various projects, ensuring they are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This role involves managing workforce, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Site Supervision and Coordination:
    • Supervise all construction operations on-site, ensuring effective coordination of activities.
    • Provide on-site leadership and guidance to ensure all tasks are performed according to project specifications.
  2. Workforce Management:
    • Manage and direct workforce, ensuring all workers understand their roles, responsibilities, and safety protocols.
    • Address any performance issues and provide training as necessary.
  3. Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to align project objectives and expectations.
    • Facilitate effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
  4. Project Monitoring:
    • Monitor project progress, including adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise on-site promptly.
  5. Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or non-compliance issues.
  6. Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly reports for management on project status, including progress, budget, and any issues encountered.
    • Provide recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in roadworks, bulk earthworks, and civil services.
  • Qualifications:
    • Relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes and regulations.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
