Work-Force
A vacancy has been confirmed for a Security Officer based in Germiston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will join an established team within the legal and security jobs function.
What This Role Involves
The Security Officer vacancy forms part of how the Germiston branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.
In addition, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Germiston team on trust, and the Security Officer role will feel that from week one.
Equally, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Germiston also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
The Environment
In addition, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.
Crucially, the role is intended to operate under the hiring organisation’s workplace conduct, health and safety policies in Gauteng.
Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Germiston site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.
A Typical Day
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Beyond that, the Germiston office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Germiston.
