Description: Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer service and administration? We are seeking a dedicated Showroom Sales Administrator to ensure that customer purchases and orders are completed professionally and efficiently. In this role, you will work closely with sales consultants to handle various administrative tasks, manage payments, and enhance the overall client experience in our Fourways Showroom.
Main Accountabilities:
- Order Processing:
- Accurately process sales and orders, including the production of invoices, delivery details, and handling payments.
- Balance daily cash-ups and ensure financial transactions are accurate.
- Data Management:
- Verify the accuracy of customer and sales consultant data, including product codes and delivery addresses.
- Produce reports as required using Excel and perform related administrative tasks, including filing.
- Customer Service:
- Answer telephones professionally and address customer queries efficiently.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience and assist with sales of Homeware products.
- Handle customer complaints where possible and refer complex issues to appropriate personnel.
- Showroom Support:
- Assist consultants and visual merchandisers with showroom housekeeping and other tasks as needed.
- Participate in stock takes daily/weekly as directed by the store manager.
- Assist with processing of IBTs, SCTs, PODs, and Translution, as well as customer collections and stock discrepancies.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Be willing to take on further responsibilities as directed by the store manager.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12/Matric.
Experience and Skills:
- Excellent administration and typing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing administrative role is required.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passionate about décor, Weylandts furniture, and homeware products.
- Comfortable working with different systems and technology.
