Main Purpose of the Position: To manage the marketing and execution of company services and enhance the company’s image, aiming to maintain and increase market share, generate new business, and operate profitably.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 with an Agricultural Diploma or degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a livestock and marketing environment.
- Valid driver’s license.
Skills:
- Proficient communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English.
- In-depth knowledge of livestock.
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Effective negotiation and marketing abilities.
- Proven sales skills.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve Turnover/Profitability: Meet and exceed turnover and profitability targets.
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with buyers and sellers.
- Community Involvement: Engage with the community to enhance the company’s presence and reputation.
- Credit Policy and Administration: Apply and manage the company’s credit policies and ensure accurate administration.
- Auction Process: Oversee and ensure an effective and sustainable auction process for livestock.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage staff involved in marketing and sales activities.
