Compliance Manager

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping our firm’s internal compliance culture and ensuring client compliance fulfillment. In this position, you will act as both a trusted advisor and internal monitor, interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into actionable directives.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage Compliance Framework: Oversee regulatory requirements, including privacy laws (POPIA, GDPR), FICA, and anti-corruption measures.
• B-BBEE & Client Compliance: Manage B-BBEE score monitoring and address client compliance needs.
• Audit & Reporting: Conduct compliance audits and provide detailed reports to management.
• Training: Develop and manage internal and external compliance training programs.
• Knowledge Leadership and Transfer: Stay current with regulations and engage with stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance.

What You Bring:

• Education: Relevant undergraduate degree (Law, Finance, Risk) with 5+ years of experience in compliance.
• Specialist Knowledge: Expertise in at least one key area such as FICA, Privacy, or B-BBEE.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience: Proven track record in regulatory compliance, training development, and stakeholder engagement.
• Attributes: Assertive with great attention to detail, learning agility, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in conflict resolution is advantageous.
