This Civil Engineer role has been briefed against a clear set of outcomes for Aliwal North. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team and will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the engineering jobs pipeline across Eastern Cape.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical drawings, BOMs and specifications for production
- Liaise with regulatory bodies on permits, licences and inspections
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation for sign-off
- Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma tools
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules for plant and equipment
- Plan, execute and close out engineering projects within scope, time and budget
- Lead root-cause analyses on production losses and quality defects
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
- Sound knowledge of the OHS Act and applicable SANS standards
- Registered or working toward registration with a recognised engineering body
- BEng, BTech or National Diploma in Engineering
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Working knowledge of CAD packages (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)
