Cashier

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Cashier to join our retail team in Bloemfontein! As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they have a smooth and pleasant experience at the checkout. Your attention to detail and ability to work quickly under pressure will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer transactions, including cash, card, and mobile payments, ensuring a seamless checkout experience.
• Cash Register Management: Balance the cash register at the end of your shift and maintain accurate transaction records throughout the day.
• Customer Service: Provide courteous and efficient service, addressing customer inquiries and promoting a positive shopping experience.
• Returns and Exchanges: Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Checkout Area Maintenance: Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked, contributing to a welcoming environment for customers.
• Store Operations Support: Assist with restocking and other store operations when necessary, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided.
