The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the branch, adhering to site-specific security requirements, and meeting client needs professionally. This role involves managing branch operations, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric certificate
- PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation
- At least 5 years of experience in the Cash in Transit Industry
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements
- People management experience
- Strong administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Own reliable transport and a valid Driver’s Licence
Key Performance Areas:
- Service Delivery:
- Ensure that contractual requirements are met as per client SLAs.
- Build and maintain relationships within the FSG group to ensure optimal service levels.
- Evaluate service levels continuously and recommend improvements to clients.
- Monitor SLAs and implement action plans when targets are not met.
- Staff Management:
- Measure staff performance regularly and intervene to maintain high performance levels.
- Ensure branch administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely.
- Reporting and Compliance:
- Submit relevant weekly, monthly, and daily reports as required by Senior Management.
- Escalate urgent matters to the executive level when necessary.
- Risk Management:
- Reassess branch/operational risk continuously and implement preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Firearms, Health and Safety, PSIRA, Road Traffic Act).
- Operational Management:
- Manage branch financial operations, including cost control and CPS.
- Oversee fleet management and security features (e.g., branch/vaults and vehicles).
- Handle vendor management effectively.
