The Branch Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operations of the branch, adhering to site-specific security requirements, and meeting client needs professionally. This role involves managing branch operations, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining high standards of service delivery.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate
  • PSIRA Grade A registration and accreditation
  • At least 5 years of experience in the Cash in Transit Industry
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management and its requirements
  • People management experience
  • Strong administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Own reliable transport and a valid Driver’s Licence

Key Performance Areas:

  1. Service Delivery:
    • Ensure that contractual requirements are met as per client SLAs.
    • Build and maintain relationships within the FSG group to ensure optimal service levels.
    • Evaluate service levels continuously and recommend improvements to clients.
    • Monitor SLAs and implement action plans when targets are not met.
  2. Staff Management:
    • Measure staff performance regularly and intervene to maintain high performance levels.
    • Ensure branch administrative tasks are completed accurately and timely.
  3. Reporting and Compliance:
    • Submit relevant weekly, monthly, and daily reports as required by Senior Management.
    • Escalate urgent matters to the executive level when necessary.
  4. Risk Management:
    • Reassess branch/operational risk continuously and implement preventive measures.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Firearms, Health and Safety, PSIRA, Road Traffic Act).
  5. Operational Management:
    • Manage branch financial operations, including cost control and CPS.
    • Oversee fleet management and security features (e.g., branch/vaults and vehicles).
    • Handle vendor management effectively.
