Work-Force
A Internship Project Management is needed in Richards Bay. The role focuses on consistent delivery, accurate work and clear communication across the KwaZulu-Natal operation.
About the Opportunity
An experienced Internship Project Management is needed to support operations in Richards Bay. The role forms part of how the business keeps its in-service training portfolio strong in KwaZulu-Natal.
Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Richards Bay team.
The role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Richards Bay also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.
A Typical Day
Your day starts with a quick check-in with your mentor and a review of the tasks you’ll shadow or own. You spend time observing experienced colleagues, asking questions and trying small pieces of work yourself. As the day progresses, you capture notes for your logbook, attend team huddles and contribute where you can. The mix of structured learning, real workplace exposure and supportive feedback helps you turn classroom theory into skills you can actually use.
Beyond that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when KwaZulu-Natal operations throw up the unexpected.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Richards Bay.
Our Commitment to Transformation
On top of that, the organisation is committed to transformation and equal opportunity. Hiring is on merit, and applications are actively encouraged from women, youth, people with disabilities and other historically disadvantaged groups in line with the Employment Equity plan and B-BBEE objectives.
Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across KwaZulu-Natal.
Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Richards Bay.
