Job Description: Minopex is looking for recent graduates to join our Graduate Programme in Chemistry. This program is designed to provide you with valuable industry experience and professional development through practical learning and hands-on training. As a Graduate – Chemistry, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of analytical work and contributing to the efficiency of mining operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Equipment Accuracy: Ensure that equipment and instruments used in analytical work produce accurate results.
- Sample Analysis: Analyze samples and provide detailed analytical reports on process streams from mining operations and individual clients.
- Hands-On Training: Develop skills through hands-on experience with coaching from senior staff, on-the-job training, and addressing process and client challenges.
- ISO 17025 Compliance: Adhere to and maintain ISO 17025 standards to ensure quality and accuracy in laboratory operations.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing assessment and feedback to support your professional growth and development.
Qualification Requirements:
- Education: Completed Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or BSc in Chemistry.
Experience and Skills Requirements:
- Experience: 1 – 2 years of laboratory experience in mining is advantageous.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office software tools.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
