Job Description: We are currently seeking highly skilled Armed Response Officers to join our security team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidates will possess extensive experience in the security industry, demonstrate physical fitness, and hold the necessary qualifications and licenses to perform their duties effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Matric (Grade 12) certificate.
- PSIRA Accreditation: Grade B PSIRA accredited and registered with Response.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the security industry.
- Criminal Record: Must have no criminal record and be willing to undergo regular criminal checks.
- Health and Fitness: Must be physically fit, in good health, and comfortable with heights.
- Computer Literacy: Computer skills are an advantage.
- Estate/Residential Experience: Experience in estate or residential security is required.
- Firearm Competency: Firearm Competency – Handgun for Business Purposes.
- Residency: Must reside in or around Soweto and be within traveling distance to the site.
- Driver’s License: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Gender: Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and Response: Perform regular patrols and respond to security incidents promptly.
- Incident Management: Handle security incidents and emergencies in line with company protocols.
- Reporting: Document and report on incidents, breaches, and security observations.
- Client Interaction: Engage professionally with clients and residents, addressing their security needs.
- Physical Duties: Execute physical tasks related to security operations, including climbing and using security equipment.
