Purpose:
We are looking for a dedicated Firearm Training Instructor to deliver professional training interventions while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legislative regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional firearm training and interventions across various sites.
- Provide on-the-job tactical training and coaching to Armed Reaction Officers.
- Actively participate in both internal and external training initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to training requirements and minimize associated risks.
- Maintain compliance with accredited training interventions and quality assurance standards (SASSETA and PFTC registered).
- Collaborate with the training team on resource logistics, asset control, and overall training functions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- PSIRA Registered Instructor (Grade B level).
- PFTC Registered Firearm Instructor (last qualification shoot must be valid, advanced level preferred).
- SASSETA Registered Assessor.
- Valid driver’s license (Code B).
- Relevant qualification in training and development or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security training.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide both direct and indirect teams.
- Ability to navigate an innovative environment and provide clear direction.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and their business impacts.
- Integrity, trustworthiness, and a clear criminal record.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

- Willingness to travel as required by the role.
