Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager position available. Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse and Transport Manager to oversee and enhance our warehouse and transport operations. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with company policies, prioritize safety, and effectively manage staff and resources to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Staff Management: Manage and motivate staff to achieve high performance and productivity.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Safety: Prioritize safety across all areas of warehouse and transport operations.
• Transport Risk Management: Monitor and manage warehouse transport risks, ensuring vehicles are maintained, roadworthy, and properly signed.
• Stock Oversight: Oversee warehouses, raw material, and finished product stock on both sites.
• Stock Management: Manage stock cycle counts, quarterly audited stock takes, and stock returns. Ensure adherence to POD and COD invoice processes.
• Standardization: Ensure standardization of systems and procedures across warehouse operations.
• ISO Compliance: Ensure adherence to ISO9000 and ISO14001 policies and procedures.
• Cost Control: Control costs, highlight variances, and maintain monthly forecasting of warehouse costs and transport usage.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse and transport operations.
• Cross-Functional Participation: Participate in the cross-functional transport committee to coordinate and align on operational strategies.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Leadership: Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams.
• Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Regulations: Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
