Mid-morning calls with operations or sales help you understand the numbers behind the numbers, and the afternoon is usually given to deeper work: management reports, tax submissions or supporting a junior with a tricky reconciliation. By the time you log off, you have nudged the business closer to a clean month-end.

On top of that, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Mpumalanga operations throw up the unexpected.

Beyond that, the Secunda office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
