We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Phase Educators to join our team. If you are passionate about delivering a rigorous academic program and creating an inspiring learning environment, we would love to hear from you!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Academic Delivery:
    • Plan, deliver, and assess a rigorous and relevant academic program for all assigned classes.
    • Provide future-focused education that motivates, inspires, and challenges students.
    • Guide students in important decisions on subject choices.
  • Academic Assessment & Reporting:
    • Regularly assess and report on students’ academic progress.
    • Use assessments to inform teaching and support student development.
  • Student Behaviour Management:
    • Implement effective strategies for managing student behavior.
    • Foster an encouraging and respectful learning environment.
  • School Brand Ambassadorship:
    • Represent the school positively in interactions with colleagues, parents, guardians, and the community.
    • Maintain and develop constructive partnerships with all members of the learning community.
  • Administration:
    • Handle administrative tasks related to teaching responsibilities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation.
  • Health & Safety:
    • Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A Degree (NQF Level 7) and PGCE or B.Ed. (Senior Phase or FET).
  • Specialized degree if teaching a specialist subject (preferred).
  • SACE certification and a police clearance are required.
  • 2-5 years of teaching experience.
  • 2-5 years of specialist subject teaching, if applicable.
  • Computer and digital literacy.
  • First Aid certification.
