We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fraud Investigation Manager to oversee and lead investigations related to fraud within our mining operations. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in fraud detection and prevention, capable of managing a team and collaborating with various departments to safeguard our operations.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management:
- Supervise and manage a team of fraud investigators, ensuring effective performance and adherence to investigative protocols.
- Investigations:
- Conduct detailed investigations into suspected fraudulent activities, including gathering evidence and analyzing information.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments to collect and evaluate evidence related to fraud cases.
- Reporting:
- Prepare comprehensive reports on investigation findings, including recommendations for corrective actions.
- Fraud Prevention:
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent fraud within the mining operations.
- Training:
- Provide training and guidance to staff on fraud detection and prevention techniques.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, applicable laws, and best practices in fraud prevention and investigation.
- Communication:
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management.
- Compliance:
- Participate in audits and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Grade 12.
- Certificate/Diploma in Fraud Investigation.
- PSIRA Grade A Certificate.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Fraud Investigator within the mining industry.
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of SAPS and the judicial process.
- Valid Driver’s License.
