Specialist: Key Accounts Management opportunity in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Motus Aftermarket Parts (MAP) is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Accounts Manager to join our Export Division based in Meadowview Head Office. The successful candidate will support the Head of Department (HOD) with internal and external sales activities across new and existing African markets, while also assisting with the operational requirements of the Export Division. Qualifications
and Experience Matric Certificate (Grade 12). A minimum of five (5) years’ sales experience. Previous experience managing export customers across African markets will be advantageous.
Certificate or Diploma in Sales and/or Marketing. Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage time effectively and perform under pressure.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Sound business acumen and a professional approach.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data. Knowledge of management accounting, including profit and margin analysis. Knowledge of African export markets, customers and export processes.
Clear criminal record. Valid South African driver’s licence. Valid South African passport.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Africa for extended periods.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Export Operations Support the HOD in managing the day-to-day activities of the MAP Export Division, including internal and external sales as well as export operations. Build and maintain relationships with export customers, including wholesalers, retailers, independent businesses and specialised workshops across designated African markets. Provide internal sales support for all MAP Export accounts, specialised workshops and wholesale customers.
Contribute to achieving the Export Division’s sales and budget targets through effective sales and marketing initiatives. Maintain and grow market share within the assigned territories. Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with prospective customers in both existing and new African markets.
Communicate market trends, customer feedback and business opportunities to management and relevant internal stakeholders. Develop product knowledge and successfully introduce new products into various African markets. Resolve customer queries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Promote current marketing campaigns, promotions and special offers to the export customer base. Support the Debtors Department by engaging with customers regarding overdue export accounts.
