Senior Accountant

Work-Force

A Senior Accountant is needed in Worcester. The role focuses on consistent delivery, accurate work and clear communication across the Western Cape operation.

The Role

The organisation is investing in its Worcester operation, and this Senior Accountant position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the finance jobs function and contribute to the wider Western Cape business.

Communication runs both ways. Managers across the finance jobs team in Western Cape make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.

Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the finance jobs group in Worcester.

Our Commitment to Transformation

Inclusion is a core part of how the team operates. This is an equal-opportunity employer, and candidates from all communities — including women, youth and persons living with disabilities — are encouraged to apply for this role in Worcester.

Practical steps back the words. Structured EE reporting, transformation initiatives and learnership programmes give real opportunities to candidates from across Western Cape.

Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Worcester.

A Typical Day

Most days begin by working through your inbox, prioritising urgent supplier or audit queries before settling into the books. You move between reconciliations, journal entries and review meetings, breaking out spreadsheets when something doesn’t tie up. Mid-morning calls with operations or sales help you understand the numbers behind the numbers, and the afternoon is usually given to deeper work: management reports, tax submissions or supporting a junior with a tricky reconciliation. By the time you log off, you have nudged the business closer to a clean month-end.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Worcester.

Equally, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Western Cape operations throw up the unexpected.

Why Join Us

You will join a team that values respectful collaboration, honest feedback and shared wins. The Worcester colleagues take pride in supporting one another and in doing the finance jobs side of the business properly, day in and day out.

Benefits are clear and consistent. Beyond the package on offer, the role includes the supports you would expect from an established South African employer in Western Cape.

Importantly, the company reinvests in its people: paid training, internal moves and the chance to take on bigger projects are all part of how careers in Worcester keep progressing.
