Work-Force
The organisation is recruiting a Security Site Supervisor for its Saldanha operation. The role forms part of a wider legal and security jobs portfolio across Western Cape.
About the Opportunity
Beyond that, the organisation is investing in its Saldanha operation, and this Security Site Supervisor position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Western Cape business.
Communication runs both ways. Managers across the legal and security jobs team in Western Cape make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.
Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Security Site Supervisor to step into the legal and security jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.
Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Saldanha teams, and the new Security Site Supervisor will feel that from the first week.
Diversity and Inclusion
In addition, the organisation supports a respectful workplace. Applications are welcome from suitably qualified candidates across Western Cape, and recruitment is intended to be fair and transparent.
B-BBEE compliance is more than a scorecard here. It informs how the business invests in skills development, supplier diversity and community engagement across the country.
Inclusive hiring extends through onboarding and into how teams operate every day. Respectful, fair conduct is expected from every team member in Saldanha.
In addition, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Western Cape.
What Your Day Looks Like
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Saldanha.
Practically speaking, the Saldanha office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
Crucially, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Western Cape operations throw up the unexpected.
