What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead root-cause analyses on production losses and quality defects
  • Ensure full compliance with the OHS Act and applicable SANS standards
  • Plan, execute and close out engineering projects within scope, time and budget
  • Support commissioning of new plant, equipment and process changes
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma tools
  • Manage technical procurement and evaluate supplier proposals

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites
  • Hands-on commissioning and maintenance experience
  • Experience leading site teams or contractors is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of CAD packages (AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar)

Potential is considered alongside experience, so candidates who tick most of these boxes should still be considered.
