About This Position
An experienced Mechatronics Technician is needed to support operations in Ladysmith. The role forms part of how the business keeps its engineering jobs portfolio strong in KwaZulu-Natal.

What Your Day Looks Like

Core Functions
- Mentor apprentices, learners and junior engineers on site
- Prepare technical drawings, BOMs and specifications for production
- Plan, execute and close out engineering projects within scope, time and budget
- Liaise with regulatory bodies on permits, licences and inspections
- Drive continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma tools
Candidate Profile
- Registered or working toward registration with a recognised engineering body
- Computer literacy in MS Office and relevant engineering software
- Awareness of B-BBEE and skills development obligations
- Commitment to safe, ethical and sustainable engineering practice
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
