Posted recently. Role: Legal Secretary. Location: Germiston, Gauteng. The team is hiring and seeks a candidate who can step in and deliver from week one.

Overview

The Legal Secretary vacancy forms part of how the Germiston branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the legal and security jobs side of the business moving forward.

On top of that, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Germiston team on trust, and the Legal Secretary role will feel that from week one.

Reasonable working hours and respectful planning are part of how the role runs. The team values strong delivery, and load is balanced fairly across the legal and security jobs group in Germiston.

The Environment

Practically speaking, the environment is process-driven and regulation-aware. Whether you are at a desk or on site, attention to detail, calm conduct and accurate reporting are non-negotiable.

Health, safety and well-being are taken seriously. Current policies and procedures are maintained, and the Germiston site adheres to the standards expected of a responsible South African employer.

Importantly, the working environment is set up to give the team the focus needed for deeper work, while keeping collaboration and quick problem-solving close at hand.

Growing With Us

This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the legal and security jobs team in Germiston have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Germiston team member.

Internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Germiston have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Gauteng.

Working in Germiston

Crucially, the role is based in Germiston, close to OR Tambo International Airport. Public transport links and parking are within easy reach, making the daily commute manageable for candidates living across Germiston and the broader Gauteng region.

Many candidates already living within reach of Germiston cite the location as one of the role’s quiet wins, with shorter commutes and a real sense of being plugged into the local Gauteng economy.

Accessibility is taken seriously: where the role allows, the team works toward a balance of in-office presence and flexibility for candidates based in and around Germiston.
