Learn moreJunior Quantity Surveyor position available. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity take-offs.
- Support in managing and reviewing project contracts and specifications.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes.
- Monitor project progress and provide timely updates on cost variances and risks.
- Compile project documentation, including proposals and variance reports.
- Participate in meetings with project stakeholders to discuss progress and financial status.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, preferably from a Quantity Surveying Firm.
- Familiarity with quantity surveying software and tools, such as WinQS and CCS.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
