Core Functions
- Maintain PSIRA registration and uphold the security industry code of conduct
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms and incidents
- Support investigations into theft, fraud and policy breaches
- Run compliance training for staff on POPIA, FICA and ethics
- Track legal and regulatory changes and advise the business on impact
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions for the legal team
- Patrol assigned premises and conduct visible security deterrence
Minimum Requirements
- Computer literacy and experience with case or incident management systems
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and refresher training
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (often required)
- Clear criminal record verified through approved screening
- Relevant qualification: LLB, paralegal diploma or PSIRA grading as required
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required
