What This Role Involves
This Internal Auditor role has been briefed against a clear set of outcomes for Springbok. The successful candidate will work alongside an established team and will be expected to contribute meaningfully to the finance jobs pipeline across Northern Cape.
Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Springbok team.
Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the finance jobs team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Springbok much easier.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor debtors’ age analysis and follow up on overdue accounts
- Maintain the fixed asset register and process monthly depreciation
- Support the year-end audit by preparing requested working papers
- Assist with VAT, PAYE and provisional tax submissions to SARS
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Candidate Profile
- Understanding of internal controls and segregation of duties
- Experience supporting external audits is an advantage
- Clear credit and criminal record
- Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Solid working knowledge of IFRS for SMEs and SA tax basics
