Intermediate Phase Teacher

Work-Force

Listing live now. We believe great workplaces are built on great people. We are looking for a Intermediate Phase Teacher in Sabie, and we encourage applicants from across Mpumalanga to consider this opportunity.

The Role

The Intermediate Phase Teacher vacancy forms part of how the Sabie branch keeps performing. It pairs day-to-day delivery with longer-running priorities that keep the teaching jobs side of the business moving forward.

Expect a structured first ninety days, with onboarding milestones, regular check-ins, and an early focus on getting comfortable with the systems and processes that underpin the Sabie team.

Crucially, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Sabie also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day begins before the bell, with last-minute lesson prep, learner check-ins and a moment to set the tone for the classroom. Lessons follow the rhythm of the timetable, but no two are quite the same — you adapt explanations, encourage quiet learners, and gently redirect those who need it. Breaks are spent marking, planning or supporting colleagues, and after-school hours might bring a meeting, an extra-mural or a parent conversation. By the time you head home, you have shaped young minds in small but lasting ways.

Crucially, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Mpumalanga operations throw up the unexpected.

Importantly, the Sabie office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

What We Offer

Few roles let you see the impact of your work as quickly as this one. Every shift, project and decision in Sabie contributes to real outcomes for clients and colleagues across the teaching jobs space in Mpumalanga.

Career development may be available depending on the role, business needs and the hiring organisation’s policies.

In addition, the role’s development opportunities, training and benefits, if offered, will be set out in the final vacancy details.

Equal Opportunity

On top of that, the organisation is committed to fair, merit-based recruitment and equal opportunity. Applications are assessed against the published role requirements in line with applicable employment law.

Importantly, the hiring organisation’s applicable employment-equity and inclusion practices will be explained in the final vacancy details for Mpumalanga.
