Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate clinical records in line with SANC and POPIA
- Provide compassionate, patient-centred care in line with scope of practice
- Support infection prevention and control protocols across the unit
- Monitor vital signs and escalate clinical concerns to the attending clinician
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and code calls
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
- Support quality improvement audits and clinical governance reviews
Who We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
- Any checks required by law or the specific duties will be explained during the hiring process
- BLS, ACLS or PALS certification where applicable to the role
- Working knowledge of POPIA as it applies to patient information
- Empathy, integrity and respect for patient dignity
