A Compliance Officer position is being filled in Senekal. Suitable candidates from across Free State are invited to submit their applications for review.
Overview
The organisation is investing in its Senekal operation, and this Compliance Officer position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the legal and security jobs function and contribute to the wider Free State business.
Notably, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Senekal team on trust, and the Compliance Officer role will feel that from week one.
Internal documentation, process notes and shared playbooks make it easier for the Compliance Officer to step into the legal and security jobs workflow quickly. Institutional knowledge is well-organised, so people are not reinventing the wheel from one week to the next.
Quality is everyone’s job. Whether the Compliance Officer is processing a transaction, supporting a colleague or handling a customer query, the standard expected in Free State is consistently high and consistently fair.
What Your Day Looks Like
Your day is built on focus and detail. You work through matter files or post lists, review evidence or contracts and check that every required record is in place. Communication with site teams, attorneys, clients or SAPS is constant, and you keep your reports factual, precise and timely. When something out of the ordinary happens, you respond calmly and follow procedure, knowing that good documentation today protects the business tomorrow.
Crucially, the Senekal office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.
No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Senekal.
In addition, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Free State operations throw up the unexpected.
Meet the Team
You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the legal and security jobs side of the business inside out. The Senekal group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.
Line management is hands-on without being heavy. Expect regular one-to-ones, honest feedback and the support needed to do good work consistently.
Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.
Importantly, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Senekal will be explained during the hiring process.
Career Growth
This role can grow with you. Strong performers in the legal and security jobs team in Senekal have moved into senior, supervisory and specialist positions, and that journey is supported through coaching, training and exposure to bigger projects.

Growth conversations happen at a regular cadence — not just at year-end — so the path forward stays current and realistic for every Senekal team member.
Practically speaking, internal mobility is encouraged. People who start in Senekal have moved into roles in other branches, specialist functions and project teams across Free State.
