About the Opportunity

The organisation is investing in its Schweizer-Reneke operation, and this In-Service Trainee Logistics position reflects that commitment. The successful candidate will work across the in-service training function and contribute to the wider North West business.

Notably, the successful applicant is given the room to plan, deliver and review their work without unnecessary noise. The organisation has built its Schweizer-Reneke team on trust, and the In-Service Trainee Logistics role will feel that from week one.

Stakeholders for this position include line managers, peers across the in-service training team and trusted external partners. Building those relationships early makes the next twelve months in Schweizer-Reneke much easier.

Day in the Life

Your day starts with a quick check-in with your mentor and a review of the tasks you’ll shadow or own. You spend time observing experienced colleagues, asking questions and trying small pieces of work yourself. As the day progresses, you capture notes for your logbook, attend team huddles and contribute where you can. The mix of structured learning, real workplace exposure and supportive feedback helps you turn classroom theory into skills you can actually use.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Schweizer-Reneke.

Crucially, the Schweizer-Reneke office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

Meet the Team

You will join a tight-knit, collaborative team that knows the in-service training side of the business inside out. The Schweizer-Reneke group is a healthy mix of experienced operators and newer joiners, all of whom share a strong commitment to delivery and to one another.

Collaboration is the default working mode. Whether picking up a quick query or working through a complex project, you will find colleagues willing to lean in and help.

In addition, the team structure and working relationships for this role in Schweizer-Reneke will be explained during the hiring process.
