What This Role Involves

The Office Assistant position is part of an ongoing recruitment drive across Limpopo. The brief has been shaped carefully, with a focus on delivery in Thohoyandou and across the administration jobs space.

Communication runs both ways. Managers across the administration jobs team in Limpopo make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.

Crucially, the role has been written to be sustainable, not just busy. Strong output is expected, and managers in Thohoyandou also pay attention to recovery, learning and the kind of breathing room that keeps people doing good work over time.

Tools, systems and information are there to support the role rather than slow it down. The company continues to invest in the technology that backs its Thohoyandou teams, and the new Office Assistant will feel that from the first week.

What Your Day Looks Like

Your day starts at the front of the business, ready to greet visitors, answer the switchboard and make sure the leadership diaries are in order. Through the morning you balance calls, couriers, capturing data and supporting projects with neat, accurate work. After lunch, you might be preparing minutes from a board pack, helping HR onboard a new starter, or chasing a courier across town. By close of day, every desk you support knows you have it covered, and the office is set up for a calm, productive tomorrow.

Practically speaking, the Thohoyandou office buzzes through peak hours and settles into focused, productive lulls in between, giving you time to plan and reset before the next stretch of work.

No two days look exactly the same — and that variety is part of what keeps the role engaging for the right candidate in Thohoyandou.

Equally, the rhythm rewards people who plan ahead but also pivot quickly when Limpopo operations throw up the unexpected.
