We are seeking an Assistant Fitter in Port Elizabeth to support mechanical fitting tasks and gain hands-on experience in the field. This role provides practical training and exposure to various fitting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.
- Support the fitting and adjustment of mechanical components and systems.
- Help with inspecting and testing equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Learn and apply fitting techniques and safety practices.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Qualifications:
- Certificate or diploma in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical fitting principles and safety standards.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Good manual skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
