Main Purpose of the Position
To collect and deliver clients’ money securely while providing proof of delivery and collection, ensuring adherence to safety and operational protocols.
Minimum Requirements
- Criminal Record: Clear criminal record.
- Security Accreditation: PSIRA accredited with a minimum Grade C qualification.
- CIT Certification: Valid Cash-in-Transit (CIT) certificate.
- Firearm Competency: Competency in handling firearms, specifically a minimum handgun qualification for business purposes.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the security industry or similar role (advantageous at FSG).
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is an advantage.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing the duties required.
- Pressure Management: Able to work under pressure and prepared to work irregular hours.
Job Specification
- Money Collection and Delivery: Take full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ money securely.
- Consignment Management: Receive, sort, and distribute consignments accurately.
- Delay Reporting: Report all delays to the Operations Manager immediately.
- Incident Prevention: Implement measures for incident prevention and reporting.
- Communication: Maintain radio contact with controllers during operations.
- Suspicious Activity Management: Take preventative actions towards any reported suspicious activity.
