Warehouse Manager

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager with a relevant degree and extensive background in warehouse and logistics, preferably within a manufacturing environment? We have an exciting opportunity for you. In this pivotal role, you will have hands-on supervision of one warehouse and oversee a second warehouse along with its Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Supervision:
  • Manage daily operations of one warehouse and provide oversight for a second warehouse.
  • Supervise and support warehouse staff, including the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Logistics and Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management practices.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Implement and enforce best practices to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
• Process Improvement:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
  • Identify and address areas for improvement in warehouse operations.
• Team Management:
  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
• Coordination and Communication:
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of products.
  • Maintain effective communication with senior management regarding warehouse performance.

Required Core Competencies:

• Education:
  • A relevant degree-level qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 10 years of experience in logistics/supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and respond quickly to change.
