Job Description:
We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will manage inventory, assist with the organization of goods, and ensure efficient warehouse operations. You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock taking.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
