What This Role Involves
An experienced Waitron is needed to support operations in Roodepoort. The role forms part of how the business keeps its hospitality jobs portfolio strong in Gauteng.
Communication runs both ways. Managers across the hospitality jobs team in Gauteng make time for one-to-ones, and people are expected to speak up early when something needs attention.

Core Functions
- Maintain cleanliness in front-of-house and back-of-house areas
- Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping and front-office teams
- Prepare and present food in line with kitchen recipes and standards
- Train casual staff on service standards and SOPs
- Promote menu items, daily specials and loyalty programmes
- Comply with food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience
Minimum Requirements
- Physically able to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service orientation and warm guest interaction
- Computer literacy and experience with POS systems
- Sound knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar hospitality environment
